The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach to Gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet the human need in His name without discrimination.

The Sunday Church service is held at 10:30 a.m. at 576 Edward Street in Wiarton.

Major Mark and Major Wendy Crabb:

“We are excited to be in Wiarton, and look forward to serving, being part of and getting to know the community and people of Wiarton. We have come to continue the amazing work already being done and to be a part of a great team who are daily sharing the love of Jesus, meeting human need, and being a transforming influence across Wiarton and surrounding communities of the South Bruce Peninsula.

Our prayers, hopes and dreams for our ministry in Wiarton are to be the hands and feet of Jesus here and our surrounding communities. To live out daily The Salvation Army’s mission to “Share the love of Jesus, meet human need, and be a transforming influence in our community”. As we embrace the community in which we live we pray we will live in such a way to exemplify Christ and His love for people. 

A commitment to justice, equality and inclusion for all, is grounded in Jesus mission in Luke 4:14-21 and Micah 6:8 –“To do Justice, To Love Kindness, To walk humbly with God.”  

As we come alongside others in service to God and Wiarton may Christ be seen in and through us. All to the honor and glory of God.”
